![]() ![]() When reports of frequent program crashes or other presumed "bugs" do appear, it is often found to be the case that there is something amiss with the user's document(s) or template (which is also a user document). You can't keep it up to date if no patch has yet been released for it. In fact, no patches (service packs) have been released to date for WPX8, so I don't understand what "I keep both X8 and Windows 10 up-to-date" means. In fact, my observations over the last 20+ years of helping WordPerfect users there and elsewhere indicate that WordPerfect Office X8 is more stable (read: less buggy) than some earlier versions, especially when running under more modern versions of Windows. Nor do very many people have such problems over at WordPerfect Universe (), a free and frequently visited non-Corel-affiliated group. I rarely experience a crash with WPX8 and I use it often throughout the day. I do not have a problem with frequent crashes you describe (though you did not detail what "several problems" means) - and I'm not even sure how you can deliberately cause program crashes several times a day just by using the program. ![]()
